I have the honour to request that in case of a vacancy occurring during the present year imongst the Indyes of the Dupreme Court Ceylon I may be transferred there. My reason for this request is that having served for a considerable number of years in Houghing as Police Magistrate, Registrar of the Supreme Court and Puione Pudge, to, I trust, the satisfaction of those who appointed me and of the various Governors of the Colony during Prose years
